Please join us for our annual Field Day events! Many volunteers are needed to make Field Day successful for our children! Please consider volunteering, for games, lunches, and much more. If you are a class parent you are required to volunteer for Field Day or you must find someone to fill in for you for the day.
To volunteer at this fantastic event, go on to our Sign-Up Genius task at:
http://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B0445AAAE29A57-fairview2!!! Games will be assigned in the Owl’s Nest by Mrs. Arvanitis at approximately 8:45 am.
A BBQ lunch of hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided. If your child does not like this lunch, please send a bag lunch.
Hope to see you there!

Field Day Committee
June 5th is Field Day.
We need many parent volunteers in order to run this event. Please sign up for an activity. Without parent volunteers, this day would not be a success.
Orders will be accepted until the end of the day Tuesday May 26th. Online orders can be entered and Fairview receives the credit.
A person who feels appreciated
will always do more than what is expected.
Please join us in appreciating our Fairview teachers and staff this week.
On Friday May 22nd, Fairview will be celebrating Memorial Day with the Memorial Day Picnic. Below are the details about the day. This is an in school event run by the teachers and staff. Parent volunteers will be needed for scooping and serving ice cream. Please consider joining us if you can.
Thank you to everyone who baked or bought something for our concession stand tonight. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make tonight a success and to our committee chair Justine Usevich Barnao. Thank you to all the parents that came with their kids to enjoy a fun night out. Thank you to Allen Ford for staying with us even though he clocked out hours before. Finally thank you to Mother Nature for keeping the rain away. On a side note…after making popcorn for four hours straight I may never eat it again…or at least not until next year!
This month’s meeting is going to be a great night. We will start the meeting a little early at 6:30. We will honor our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Tindall for all of her hard work and dedication to Fairview.
We will also vote in the new PTO Executive Board for the 2015-2016 school year.
Finally, we are very excited to welcome everyone to meet Mr. Melando, Fairview School’s new principal. Mr. Melando is looking forward to meeting and speaking with our parents and teachers.
It is going to be a busy night at Fairview. We hope that you can make some time to join us between games and activities that this busy time of year brings.
